Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This has been created in memory of the late Rod Ashman, who died peacefully on 22nd December 2020 aged 83..

Rod was a great supporter of children's charities during his life, even more so since the birth of his grandson Sam Elliott in December 2005.  Sam was born with Downs Syndrome, and later complications in Sam's early years lead to him suffering severe disabilities. Rod developed a really close bond with Sam, and made countless visits to children's` hospitals and respite centres throughout the years.   He was always quick to praise these places and the amazing work that they do.

This is a fitting charity in Rod`s memory, and any amount you may be able to consider donating, no matter how small, will be gratefully appreciated.
