So why the Brathay 262? I was looking for a cycling challenge and 262 miles (421 km) in 24 hours is certainly a challenge. I picked the Brathay Trust as a Charity to fundraise for because I attended a development course through work at Brathay Hall nearly 20 years ago and it was an experience with strong and fond memories.
Commercial courses like the one I attended help support the work of the Trust in achieving their mission.
