On 5th September my mother would have celebrated her 90th birthday and on the 9th September she and my father would have been married for 70 years.  Sadly she died on the 30th December 2013 having received wonderful help and support from MacMillan Nursing Care and Rossendale Hospice.  I wanted to recognise the assistance they gave to my family and to myself during this trying time.  My aim is to raise £10,000 for Rossendale Hospice.  I become an OAP this year so a half marathon is a good challenge and hopefully a fitting tribute to the memory of my mother.

I would be extremely grateful for all donations to help me in my quest to accomplish this challenge.
