Story

Thank you for visiting Rohan's page.

Rohan was born on 24 April 2016. A beautiful baby boy, our one in a million little star.

However, following numerous medical tests at just four months he was diagnosed with leukodystrophy, a group of rare, progressive, metabolic and genetic conditions that severely affect the brain. So, he really could be one in a million. We were told by Great Ormond Street Hospital we should start living life to the full as Rohan's future was uncertain.

With the support of the amazing NHS in Watford and equally compassionate Keech Hospice Care in Luton, Rohan lived life to the full during the next eight weeks. From regular reiki massage sessions to trips to Whipsnade Zoo and Sea Life, Rohan's limited senses were stimulated on a daily basis.

Rohan loved sitting in the sensory room and being splashed in the hydrotherapy pool at Keech and those were some of our happiest times.

With the help of Keech, Rohan's short time with us has been both magical and unforgettable. We are forever indebted to Keech for their unlimited love, compassion and support.

Thank you for reading Rohan's story.
