Story

On 7 June 2013, my dear friend Amy Davenport lost a long and difficult fight against cancer. Amy was an incredibly kind, patient, optimistic and warm person. Her amazingly laid-back and relaxed attitude to life was not only endearing, but also very inspiring. Amy was always the first person to offer the most level-headed advice whenever anybody was in a difficult situation and was always ready and willing to help a friend.

On 7 June 2014, it will be my turn to help a friend. I will be taking part in a 62 mile sponsored cycle; Nightrider London. I will begin to peddle around London at 10pm, starting at Crystal Palace and crossing the finish line at the Oval cricket ground. Every single penny of the money I raise will go directly to Cancer Research UK, to help those affected by the devastating impact Cancer has on peoples’ lives and, finally, find a cure.

I would be so, so grateful if you could donate whatever you can to help me reach my target.

Any amount you are able to give would be massively appreciated.

A huge thank you,
