I shall be taking part in the Ponteland Triathlon and running the Great North Run this year for the Simon Bates Foundation. As many of you will know we lost a dear friend last year and Kelly and his loving family and friends have set up such an amazing Foundation in his memory, so this is something very close to our hearts.

I am in absolute awe of the strength and commitment of my best friend Kelly (Si's partner) and Si's family and friends, and would love nothing more than for all you generous folk to help out in making the Foundation a huge success - something to make Si extremely proud of!
