Rok MK 3 Peaks Challenge · 24 March 2008

We create sustainable communities that provide homes older people want, lifestyles they can enjoy and care if it's needed.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

During a drunken night out in January the 12 of us foolishly agreed to undertake the 3 Peaks Challenge.  With sore heads the following morning i'm sure we all thought 'what on earth have i signed up to?' but hey ho, it's all good fun and for a worthy cause.

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust have recently opened Lovat Field's Village in Milton Keynes.  Their main aim is to ensure that our older generation can enjoy an active and fun lifestyle in their later years.  Lets face it, we are all going to get old one day and to be able to continue to enjoy yourself rather that sit in 'god's' waiting room is something i'm sure we would all like.

The team at Lovat Fields do an extraordinary job.  With an ageing population and issues with pensions we need to support such causes.  If you haven't visited yet you must. The sense of community generated is amazing and this simply couldn't happen without Charitable donations.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ExtraCare Charitable Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
