The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

4 months ago I fractured my ankle at work and had it rebuilt.  I spent the first 3 months of 2020 stuck in hospital, then stuck in a cast, and now under lockdown.

I have spent the last 20 years helping to maintain Alderney's countryside including paths (almost 26kms in length), reserves, woodlands or wetlands, the last 4 months has been a challenge!  I am now able to walk, but function in my ankle is still limited.

During lockdown we have only 2hrs excercise time and the islands reserves, beaches and paths offer all of us a opportunity to get out in saftey.  Any money I raise will go to the Alderney Wildlife Trusts conservation effort.  So please think about sponsoring my 2.6. x 26 challenge, I'm not aiming for the moon but it will still be a real challenge!
