Providing information, support and access to established, new or innovative treatments for Atrial Fibrillation (AF)

Story

Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.

We are a small group of three men from West London and our mission – which started as a pub bet - is to cycle from Hampton to Avignon (600+ miles) at the beginning of May with the aim of completing it in 8 days.  The Rollin Bones team is Patrick Carew, Simon Bignall and Mike Conn (total age 170 years!).  We were originally a team of four but our fourth member, Sean Fullerton, ended up in hospital having a 5 hour operation to correct an atrial flutter after a training ride just 3 weeks ago.  Sean is the most experienced rider of the group, having cycled competitively since he was a teenager and with many years of amateur road races behind him.  Since the op, Sean is feeling better than ever but has decided that the serious job of driving the support vehicle is safer for him at this time and his knowledge and advice will be invaluable to us on the journey!  We felt that a relevant charity should benefit from our efforts and we would like any money raised to go to the AFA (Atrial Fibrillation Association) to help others like Sean.  We are paying all the expenses of the trip ourselves so that everything you give will go to the charity and make this massive effort even more worthwhile.

Thank you so much for anything you care to give.
