It is with great excitement and joy that I’m running the 2018 London Marathon in memory of my Mum who sadly left our lives in October 2016. After beating breast cancer back in 2014 it was a cruel shock to Mum, Dad and my brothers that the cancer had returned, only this time it wasn’t reversible.
After being told Mum could have up to 7yrs if treatment went well she of course started setting out personal goals to get her through each chunk of treatment. Unfortunately, only after a few short months and unknown to me, I was taking mum into hospital for the last time and after a few short weeks her battle was over.
I am committed to helping the world cancer research fund fight cancer and, with your support, we will all help them with their aim of being in a world where no one develops a cancer that could have been prevented.
I’d be so grateful for any donation you are able to give to help me reach my target.
