In Romania thousands of families live in extreme poverty with no proper home, insulation, heating or water. This summer, we (a group of 9 Kingdown students and 2 teachers) are going our to Romania to support one homeless family by building for them a safe shelter.

 

We are funding the trip ourselves but we need to raise £3,300 for wood and other building materials. To raise money we have so far washed cars, packed bags in supermarkets and completed a fun (but very hard) sponsored bike ride from Warminster to Bristol and back. We are continuing with our fundraising efforts in order to achieve our £3,300 target!
