Story
Please Help Children Starving in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is one of the worlds most densely populated countries (roughly the size of Florida), it is home to over 160 million people, compared to Floridas 21 million. Formerly East Pakistan, Bangladesh was formed in 1971 as a result of civil war, and it continues to experience political volatility, among other challenges. Despite progress, millions still live in poverty, climate change-related disasters pose a grave threat, child mortality, malnutrition and the marriage rates are among the worlds highest. Bangladeshs children deserve better, there is a humanitarian crisis. Bangladesh also hosts the worlds largest refugee camp in Coxs Bazar, where hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children and families have fled to escape violence in Myanmar.
It is important to me that I help starving children as I am privileged to have been born and raised British. I have never had food not provided for me or had to live in fear. Some of these children can only ever dream of a life which is normal to us, supporting this charity will help these children, maybe even save a life.
