HOORAH!! We all succesfully completed the Rome Marathon and celebrated  in style. The team consisted of Sarah Ackroyd, Sophie Ng, Patrick Ackroyd, Becky Ackroyd, Ann Ball, Terri Filkins and Paula Bennett.  For Sophie, Becky and Sarah it was their first marathon.  It was great fun (ok there were times when not everyone would agree with that!).Our support team were superb, some of them managing to cheer us on 6 times in different locations! They did however complain they were more tired than the runners!

We enjoyed the sites of Rome over the next couple of days - with varying degrees of pain, delighted that our efforts have been so generously supported by all our friends and families. Thank you ALL so much - we will definately top our target of 5k and hope to get close to 6k.
