Story
My beautiful best friend passed away peacefully this morning (18.7.11) after losing her battle with cancer. Zoe was such an amazing person and I will miss her more than words can say. Zoe has been cared for at Nightingale House Hospice over the past few months and she has had nothing but praise for everyone involved.
My brother and I are taking part in Tough Guy on 31st July which consists of a 9 mile army assault course through 7ft high stinging nettles, suffering electric shocks, negotiating underwater mud-filled tunnels, running over flaming hay bales, braving high level ropes and much, much more. Have a look at it here.... www.toughguy.co.uk
We want to raise as much money as possible for Nightingale House Hospice so that they can continue to provide specialist palliative care for patients with specific life-limiting illnesses. This facility is provided free of charge to patients and their families and we need to make sure it stays that way for all the families that will need their help in the future.
I am incredibly sad that Zoe won't be around so that I can show her all the pictures and to tell her how much we have raised but it has made me even more determined to make her proud.
Thanks for reading our page and thanks for donating.
Rona & Geoff :)
