Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Wendy was diagnosed with Dementia in 2017 , though in retrospect she began with minor memory issues some years previously . As with many others she was in denial but when it took an unexpected aggressive paranoid phase she was hospitalised and then admitted to a Care Home .
A Hospice Palliative Medicine doctor , she was now in need of being cared for herself
The most challenging part of that was the impact of Lockdown due to the Pandemic. Overnight she lost contact with me and all her family
