I have chosen Marie Curie cancer Care as my chosen charity because I feel that they do provide really good care for anyone unlucky to contract incurable cancer. 

I dedicate my ride to DAVE CLARK and BRIAN ANDERSON. Both cycled Lands End to John O Groats with Martyn Wall and myself in aid of Multiple Schlerosis. They were both wonderful guys, commited Christians who were involved as Elders in their Churches, keen cyclists, sailors and walkers. We miss them.

I would also like to dedicate the ride to our other friends JIM HOLMES, ROY HEPBURN, ANNE BANNATYNE, and NORMA GILL who passed before their time.

This is my 4th ride on the Caledionian Etap. It is 81 miles and last year my time was 4hrs 48mins. I am targetting 4hrs 30minutes. Wish me luck.
