There are lots of public service heroes out there helping us get through this crisis, while the rest of us stay at home to save lives. We would love everyone to become even more of a stay at home hero to support disabled people who need us.

Story

Whilst millions of us are staying at home, I want to challenge myself to cycle 7 kilometres in 20 minutes from my wheelchair using the MOTOmed bike.  Previously my target was 6km in 20 minutes which I have now achieved.

Through doing this I can hopefully raise some money for White Lodge as so many children, young people and adults with disabilities will need their vital services more than ever once we are through the storm of the pandemic.

I have been going to White Lodge for nearly 8 years after having a Stroke in June 2011. On Wednesdays I have physiotherapy with Sarah and on Fridays I exercise using a MOTOmed bike with Lisa.  Along with many others I would be devastated if White Lodge was forced to close its doors as it relies on donations.

Please sponsor me in this challenge.  It does not matter how small or large it is as every penny goes to helping White Lodge keep their doors open to some of the most vulnerable and disabled people in our community.
