I've decided to take part in the Great North Run and raise money for Guide Dogs as my challenge to get fit.  Training is paying off and I've now managed to complete a 12 mile run in preparation for the big one!  My training partner is keeping me going and regularly requests to come running with me - he is now a superfit 12 year old - my son!

My family and I are quite involved with Guide Dogs as we board a dog for a 10 week period while it is in training.  This is great fun and enables us to help the organisation in a small way.  I'm sure you'll agree that this is a very worthwhile cause and hopefully you will give me loads of encouragement by deciding to donate.
