The aim of the Crown Wharf Theatre is to design, build and run a theatre space for everyone to use in Stone; providing professional facilities that are flexible, affordable and accessible to performers and audiences alike - putting local people at the heart of this plan whilst attracting more visitors to the town and its businesses. A theatre that will build upon the town’s existing arts, culture and community activity, and will look to foster a sense of a facility run by, and for, the community of Stone.

Here at Rooftop Studios we are looking at organising a variety of events to help support this project. Our target of raising £5000 would qualify us to be one of the gold founding partners and enable us to build a strong relationship with The Crown Wharf Theatre. Having a theatre in Stone will enrich our students training allowing them more opportunities to perform on a professional stage in front of an audience. It will also allow us to perform for the local community in the heart of Stone as opposed to hiring a venue further afield.
