Twenty teams will take part in the second bed push challenge at Cardiff Bay Barrage, Sunday May 12th 2019. 

We are a team of 5 staff who all work on the Neuro Rehab Unit at Rookwood Hospital. Our patients spend many months, sometimes years, in hospital receiving specialist rehabilitation following life changing brain injury. 

The money raised for PROP is spent on providing equipment and services that are not funded by the health board. In recent years the ward has benefited from the installation of a giant projector screen, iPads, televisions for each bed, parties for patients and their families, music therapy sessions for patients, updated day room and garden.....

We are hoping to raise some more money for PROP by pushing a decommissioned hospital bed across the barrage in a race against other teams 😁
