National Three Peaks Challenge · 22 July 2017

The KKF was formed following the death of Kerry after a seven year battle with cancer. Kerry was a determined advocate of many charities and we intend to help charities she supported HER Breast Friends, St Anne's Community Special School, Cancer Research and Jane Tomlinson Appeal to name but a few.

Story

Thank you for taking time to visit The Roos Hiking Mums fundraising page.

Here we go again .... after completing the National Three Peaks just over a year ago we needed another challenge.

Next weekend we will be attempting to complete the Yorkshire Wolds Way which is 79 miles over 3 days.  Leaving Filey on Friday morning we are walking to Grimston on day one.  Day two takes us from Grimston to North Newbald and our final day takes us from North Newbald to Hessle.

Maybe it’s time to change our name to the Roos Mad Mums!!

Again we are supporting the Kerry Key Foundation every step of the way.  We all know someone who has been affected by Cancer and some of our group have lost family and close friends to this shocking disease.  Our aim is to raise funds to donate to charities in our area and hope that one day with all the research that is taking place, a cure for this disease can be found.

Thank you again for reading our story and supporting us with our challenge.
