I am running a 5k on Saturday morning, with Sonia O'Sullivan, Ireland's greatest ever female runner, in aid of the Ireland Funds of Great Britain, an organisation of which I am proud to Chair. 

The Ireland Funds Great Britain, is the UK chapter of an international philanthropy network supporting the global Irish and raises money to make a real difference to those in need and to support Irish culture in Great Britain and in Ireland. 

We identify, monitor, fund and mentor charities and non-profits that promote wellbeing, community and culture. 

Our mission is to harness the power of a global philanthropic network of friends of Ireland to promote and support peace, culture, education and community development across Ireland and among Irish communities around the world.
