Story

As we approach the end of another year, we look forward to continuing the work we do here at Gloucester House by offering people the opportunity to get a place in treatment, that otherwise have been unable to access funding through other means.                                                       Of course our funds are limited and we can only help people when we have funds available to do so; which means we are always trying to raise funding through events and donations wherever we can. During this past year two ex clients of Gloucester House have ran marathons for us, local churches and establishments have continued to host games nights and coffee mornings for us' and one lady even hosted a ladies dinner night for staff members which raised £180.                                                                                                              Along with these events we are also pleased to say that our local defence academy also chose us as one of their two charities this year, donating funds raised from their yearly bonfire night.                                                                                                                    We have also received donations recently from mourners attending the family funerals of our head of programmes late father, and our chaplains late mother, along with other family members of ex-clients that have continued to support us throughout the years.                                                                                                                       So on behalf of the staff and residents here I would like to say a very big thank you for all who have continued to support us and if anybody would like to give somebody the chance of a recovery from the illness of addiction please contact us on 01793 762365, or make a donation at just Giving or through our website on www.gloucesterhouse.org.uk.

With our grateful thanks and best wishes to you all for 2019.
