Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello! We are Team 6 from NCS wave 1 and as part of our social action project we are raising money for RAY. On Thursday 11th August at 10am we begin fundraising and are staying out all night in York city centre for a full 24 hours. We've decided to raise money for refugees as when we went to France the camp we saw at Calais really hit us hard and we wanted to give back as well as support our local community. Please donate generously, Thank you! 

About the charity

RAY runs a drop-in, The Hub, for refugees, asylum seekers & migrants. We offer English classes, an information & support session, Turkish and Arabic classes & craft activities for children & a shared meal as well as a hardship fund. We also run a youth & sports group, and summer trips.
