Story

Hello Lovelies,

So last year I got roped into running a marathons. It was never on my bucket list but I put my mind to it, stocked up on my energy jars ( Nutella) and trained! I completed the 2014 London marathon in 4:48 and as I crossed the finishing line gasped " I'm never ever doing that again" five minutes later I shouted sign me up for the next one! So here I am again....

I will be running the London Marathon  AGAIN in memory of my beautiful sister who will no doubt be thinking I'm bonkers and laughing at me groanin, moaning and panting and hopefully not tripping thought the streets of London. I recently gave up Nutella, chocolate /cocoa for 40 days and 40 nights for Macmillan and at the time thought it was harder than training for the marathon - my challenge now is to raise at least £2,000 for Macmillan.

What ever pain I go through will not come close to what my sister and many others have to go through. Kathleen had a great sense of humour through out her battle with cancer. Macmillan  were a huge support to Kathleen, her husband Mark and my whole family and I am forever indebted to them.

I remember so clearly a moment, my siblings and parents were all in my parents living room, Kathleen looked up smiled and said "I should die more often, its lovely having us all together"

Macmillan organised an Ambulance to drive her through snow storms from my parents village to her new family home 200 or so miles away so she could spend christmas there and we would follow two days later. Kathleen passed away on christmas eve 2010, Thank you to Macmillan for getting her to her home x
