This year we are hoping to complete an Ironman in memory of our wonderful friend, Louise, who tragically passed away last November. Louise was not only a fantastic friend, scientist, baker and all round wonderful human, but also an super sportswoman, and who after completing numerous marathons & an ultra marathon, had signed up to Ironman Bolton this year. We would like to celebrate her life, and how she continues to inspire us every day, by attempting to complete an Ironman for her. This will consist of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and then a marathon...Eek! 

We are raising money for Cancer research as Louise had always wanted to make a difference to people suffering from cancer. Any contributions would be greatly received (and will definitely help keep us motivated for 140.6 miles (and the many, many hours this may take to complete!)).
