Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On April 7th 2013 I will be hitting the streets of Paris to take on my first marathon after taking up running just twelve months ago.
I am asking for any donations, however big or small to go to Amnesty International in my dad's name.
My dad passed away on 30th December 2012 after a 14 month battle with cancer. Until he became ill, he was an avid and keen runner and had hoped one day he would run a marathon. Following his diagnosis he had to hang up his running shoes for good and I took over the mantle as the 'runner' in the family.
Raising money for Amnesty allows his lifelong campaigning and work fighting against the abuse of human rights to continue after life.
