The Wenham Women are Walking again for the MS Society!

 Last year, after a brilliant sunshine drenched summer, we braved the coldest, wettest and windiest day in September to walk 20 kilometres, raising an amazing £3057 for the MS Society. Thanks to everyone who donated, it kept us going through the day, completing the walk in just over 4hours.

We have decided to walk again this year after we had so much fun and loved being part of the amazing atmosphere of the day. We were so humbled by all of your generosity and don’t expect to reach the same target this year but any small change you have would be much appreciated.

The money goes directly to the MS Society who help to support those suffering with MS and also contributes towards research and clinical trials. The charity is close to our hearts as we have sadly lost two very good friends to the effects of the disease and while it doesn’t affect Rose daily yet, she too has the disease after being diagnosed with Remitting Relapsing MS.

We don’t want this to be a pity walk, it’s a celebration. We want to celebrate those who are brave enough to continue to fight the disease and also those who believe in finding a cure.

Please support us in any way you can. We will run, walk or most likely crawl our way round but unlike MS, we will not be defeated.
