We are a group called Rose and Thorn and we are completing a 24km walk for IDAS, a charity supporting domestic abuse survivors. We are called Rose and Thorn as relationships can appear beautiful on the surface but can be harmful underneath. We are walking 24km as the average age someone experienced domestic abuse is between 18 and 24. 

We are completing our social action project as part of  the NCS summer programme, which is a programme for young people aged 16-17 that gives them the opportunity to help their local community.
