In 2021, a representative from Marie Curie told us about the Penguin Parade - an event aimed at early years pupils to stretch their legs, raise money, and become friends with Penelope the Penguin.

But not to wanting to back out of a challenge, Roseblade Media took on the challenge and let out our inner child trapped inside and join in the parade!

Thanks to Covid, our fundraiser never materialised in 2021, but Penelope has continued to sit in our office all year round.

So, 2022 is our year to trek around the valleys - Roughly 18 miles in total, on foot, starting at the Roseblade Media office, heading down to Festival Park, on to Cwm, Six Bells, Abertillery, Blaina, Brynmawr, and finally, back to the Roseblade office in Ebbw Vale.

We set off from Roseblade HQ on the 19th of November.

To date, Siân and Mathew, both Director's at Roseblade, have confirmed they'll take on this challenge.
