Story

Seeking to improve the quality of life for patients who have been severely injured is something that is close to all of our hearts and that's exactly what AfterTrauma do.  http://www.aftertrauma.org/

What could be more intrepid (foolhardy?) than running a marathon a day for 6 days through the Costa Rican rainforest? In upwards of 35 degree heat and rainforest humidity, the race starts each day at sea level and climbs between 600m and 2500m into the Talamancas. This is the race:

Elites will be vying for a place on the podium, we will be aiming to finish. My secondary aim is to hug a sloth. Hopefully not while it is overtaking me.

Please consider supporting us by giving to AfterTrauma, or by sending us encouragement: we will need all the following breeze we can get!
