Story
In celebration of my five years in the UK, I thought it would be a great idea to swim the longest lake in England in July 2018. Lake Windermere is in the Lakes District and is 17km long.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution help keep us safe in the water providing life guard services and flood rescue services.
I am aiming to raise £170 to represent £10 per km I am swimming!
Over the last few months I have been doing lots of lengths up and down the Serpentine, Tooting Bec Lido, Brockwell Lido, Jesus Green Lido, The London Aquatic Centre, Marshall St Leisure Centre, Parliament Hill Lido, Eton Dorney Lake, Heron Lake and Queen Victoria Docks.
Thanks for all the support from friends and family along the way putting up with me smelling like chlorine, duck poo and lugging wet swim kit around with me!
