CLDF and the British Liver Trust have merged - we are the only UK charity for all liver conditions. We support parents, children, young people and adults affected, through tailored support and information, and we campaign for improved early detection and better treatment and care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!!

A few months ago, our housemate Will McConnon was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis. This is a rare disorder, and funding future research could aid thousands of people worldwide. Current treatment includes taking many drugs, including immuno-suppressants which can heavily affect daily life, as well as invasive surgery. New research would help to develop new treatment methods and further current understanding of this rare disease.

Since this issue is very close to our hearts, we are running the Great Birmingham Half Marathon in October together, to raise money for the British Liver Trust.

We are very much looking forward to keeping this page up to date with our progress! Any support you could give us - motivational messages and/or monetary donations would be hugely appreciated!

Lots of love,

The Rookery Road girls xxxx
