In March 2019 I began working for an amazing charity called Rainbow Trust. Since then, I decided to set myself the MASSIVE challenge of running a crazy 26.2 miles! When I first started my training, I couldn’t even manage a ten-minute run without stopping, so this is by far the most challenging task I have ever set myself. Since then I have been training hard and I am aiming to complete the Brighton Marathon on the 19th April 2020, in attempt to raise £450 for the charity. 

When serious illness affects a child, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with a dedicated expert Family Support Worker to help them face and make the most of each new day. 

- £26 provides an hour's emotional and practical support to a family caring for a seriously ill child, helping them to make the most of precious time

- £44 pays for a memory box for a family to capture memories of treasured times

- £182 pays for a day's visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to leave the house or simply sleep

- £1,780 is the average cost of support for a family with a seriously ill child for a year
