I'm joining #TeamKidney this October and walking 120km or more throughout the month for the Big Purple Dog walk. I'm participating in this fundraising event because my daughter's partner Mike has recently been diagnosed with rapid onset final stage kidney disease. He's now receiving home dialysis, supported by Anna.

Over 7 million people in the UK have this life-changing disease. Breakthroughs in research are needed to save and improve their lives.
