Anyone who knows my family or me, will know that 2015 was the worst year we could have had. For anyone who doesn’t know, this was the result of my Auntie Nikki being tragically murdered in her own home.

Loosing someone at the best of times is so difficult, but the upset in such rare circumstances is truly unimaginable. Unfortunately, when we lost Nikki, 2 beautiful young children also lost their Mummy. 

Nikki’s Wishes was set up to help support children who’ve lost a parent or sibling in the Dacorum and West Herts area. In previous years, they’ve put on numerous activity days for children to meet and socialise with others who’ve experienced similar situations, as well as hosting annual fun days for the whole family to enjoy, and offering small and local businesses the chance to showcase their products and sell. 

Both last year and this year, all fundraising was put on hold due to the pandemic, and so they haven’t been receiving the financial support they usually would - that’s why I’ve decided to take a leap of faith (literally), to jump out of an aeroplane at 15,000ft… 

This is something I’ve always wanted to do, and knowing now that I can do this whilst supporting a charity so close to my heart makes it 10x better.
