Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. It's 15 years since I last took part in the Great North Run (half marathon - 13.1miles). I am daunted!!

By aiming to raise some money and profile for Carfield Friends and the pupils at Carfield Community Primary School I am hoping this will spur me on for those last difficult miles on Sunday 11th September.

As part of the PTA Carfield Friends at my children's school we have been working hard to fundraise, plan and promote the improvement of the three playgrounds across their large primary of 600+ pupils. We are keen to "green up" the tarmac playgrounds, give pupils better play and sports options as well as pleasant areas to sit with friends or hold outdoor performances. 

I know budgets are tight but if you can give any amount, no matter how small it's s a cause that will improve the lives of many kids for years to come.  Thank you.
