As some of you may know i will be skydiving for charity! My charity, Get Connected, is a helpline for young people. We talk about any issues that a caller is facing and then direct them towards the most appropriate organisations. Ive talked to people about a whole range of problems - from pets dying to mental health problems to abuse. Ive been volunteering for almost a year and found it both challenging and rewarding. We cant always find solutions but we aim to help the person get to a better place than before the beginning of the call. Get Connected have 4 channels (webchat, sms, phone and email) which makes it even easier for people to contact us, but I also means that we need more volunteers and resources!

I am involved with a number of different voluntering organisations but Get Connected is the one that has biggest impact. So i have decided to do some fundraising! All the money that you donate will go to helping these young people directly.
