The charity I'm fundraising for is called READ International, and I'm part of their Liverpool project. This charity  basically collects all of the "out of date" text books from UK schools as they're constantly changing the syllabuses and ships them across to Tanzania. It's much cheaper to do it this way instead of just buying the books in Tanzania and in addition, it means that these books don't end up in landfill or growing dusty at the back of a cupboard!

So what I'm doing for this completely and utterly fabulous charity is a Bloody Great Big Abseil on June 7th. Its 150ft down the Woodside Ventilation Station in Birkenhead courtesy of those lovely people at Mersey Tunnels.

Ok so I'm thinking (permission provided) Fancy Dress is standard, any suggestions... bring it on!
