Endometriosis is a chronic illness, which takes on average, 7 years to be correctly diagnosed with. I want to raise awareness about this illness to ensure people are diagnosed earlier so they can move forward and enjoy their lives, pain free, and also to eliminate all the years of torment and suffering that it creates  

3 years ago, my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. This was after years and years of living in pain and enduring lots of heartache.  Whilst being told time after time by doctors that it was a whole host of other things... the diagnosis finally came and meant surgery could be performed. We are one of the lucky ones, but there are still so many people undiagnosed.
