That's the website's ego inflated so now we can actually talk about what I am doing. I will be taking part in a sponsored abseil from the Finnieston Crane in Glasgow for the Beatson Pebble appeal. In the past I have only abseiled twice on small cliff faces and while I found it enjoyable, it took me a while to actually overcome my fear of falling. I haven't abseiled in several years and the closest thing I've done since has been kayaking down a 24ft waterfall on the river Etive this year. Personally I think it will be rather funny to be a spectator of this since you'll probably be able to hear my not-so-manly screams for miles around!

Don't forget to donate and come watch me abseil from the top of the Finnieston Crane!
