Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·
In April 2010, my Dad, Tim - my hero - passed away suddenly from the affects of bowel cancer.
In his honour, and in an attempt to help others to not have to experience what my family and I went through, I am running the London Marathon – to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK – a charity who are doing tremendous work raising awareness, campaigning for the best treatment and care, and providing practical support and advice for those who are forced to confront bowel cancer.
Anything you could donate would be fantastic, even if it’s just a couple of pounds. Your money would make a real difference towards saving lives and helping families, like mine, who are affected by the disease.
The Marathon will be all the more special for me, because my brother, Marcus (or Marcy) is running it as well, also for Bowel Cancer UK!
Thank you very much; I really appreciate your support. .
