Prostate Scotland aims to inform, support, campaign and advance on prostate disease in Scotland. We raise awareness and provide information about prostate cancer and disease and its treatments. We also promote research and treatment developments on prostate issues across Scotland.

Story

Like most people I’ve always given to charity whether it’s a donation, sponsoring someone, sharing or liking page, it’s not really until someone close to you gets effected by something that it really hits home, how much these charities, support groups etc help.

Recently a close family member was diagnosed with prostate cancer, although the diagnosis is the best we could hope for, it’s times like these where you need a focus to remain upbeat, strong and positive. Step forward Erin, she felt that she wanted to do something positive for this person and help a charity at the same time so we have decided to climb/walk/crawl up Ben Nevis, hopefully late July, early August dependant on weather.

At the same time as we do that, the boys Oliver and Calvin will run 9 miles, (the equivalent distance up and down Nevis),  and Gemma and Clover will aim to walk the 9 miles as well, so your getting plenty of potential blood, sweat and tears out the 6 of us lol.

So whether it’s a donation, a like, a share, whatever you want I’d appreciate either

Cheers 🍻
