Hi everybody 

Firstly thank you for taking time out to either read my story or to even donate!

Marie Curie is a charity close to my family’s heart as they helped a lot of my family in the darkest of times!

The work the staff do at Marie curie and all the Marie curie community is breathtaking, alongside this the care love and attention my family had in their last days was amazing!

Over the last few years we as a family  have supported the charity immensely raising over £15,000. The biggest driving force behind supporting Marie curie like we do is my mum. My mum has volunteered at 1 of the Marie curie hospices and has also taken part in many events and recently took part in a 2 gruelling treks across Costa Rica and also Napal!

I am so excited and honoured to be running in this years London Marathon. It’s been something Iv been trying to get a place on for many many years and now the time has finally come! 

It will be a huge challenge for myself and with my training taking a little bit of a back seat recently due to been a dad but I am focused on getting fully fit in the coming months ready for the day.

I’m nervous, cry regularly on runs at the thought of getting across that finish line but most of all I’m so excited for the challenge!

Please, if you can, help me smash my target of £2000.
