Story

Join us for what will be our 3rd round of "The Battling Cancer - Battle Rope Challenge!" and help us raise over £1,000 for The Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.

Every one of us has been or will be affected by cancer during our lifetime, whether it’s you, a close friend, a relative, or someone close to you losing someone close to them. We have all known heartache when dealing with this disease or shared celebration when beating it.

Quite often we wonder to ourselves what can we do? What can we do to help? How can we possibly support someone going through this disease? Well one thing we can all do is help support the organizations that know what do, and organizations like Macmillan Cancer Support can make the world of difference to families and friends going through an incredibly difficult and often confusing time.

To help support, the first and easy thing we know to do is to donate money, but and even better thing we want to do is to raise AWARENESS which not only helps to raise EVEN MORE money, but helps bring the charity to people’s attention, so that maybe someone you know can be helped by them one day.

I believe we at ACADEMY MARTIAL ARTS have the power to reach so many people, spreading our positivity to the world the same way Macmillan wants to spread their awesomeness to the world. But to help them, we firstly need your help!

Please come and support our “The Battling Cancer - Battle Ropes” Challenge. Even if you don’t actually take part in the moving of the ropes, come down to this amazing day and take part in motivating others that will!

So come and be a part of this amazing energy and make the world of difference to those who need our help, and say thank you to a charity that may have helped you or someone you love..
