Story

Hey hey hey!!

I’m gonna be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 2nd 2023. This is the biggest physical and mental challenge I’ve ever done. Im gonna be dedicating everything to this!

The Samaritans are an amazing charity. I know I left this story in South Shields but it’s important here. See on November 19th 2021 I made a decision that life wasn’t worth living. That night I made an attempt on my life. I woke up the next morning.

I contacted Samaritans for support and help. They rationalised with me and told me how I felt was normal. When all my friends left they were there. When everything was going wrong around me they were a constant, always there to help and support me. They helped me see out the Christmas period until I could hire a coach.

Over the last 10 months a lot has changed. I’ve grown abs evolved as a man. Im more mentally strong than I’ve ever been. I’ve changed my life.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the Samaritans.

Every 90 mins someone in the UK dies from suicide.

Every 6 seconds someone reaches out to Samaritans for help.

Without the Samaritans I’d be a statistic so this is my chance to give back.

Please do give generously. Your donation could stop another person from becoming part of that harrowing statistic.
