Chaplain's Challenge 2018 · 25 January 2018

We work with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty. We help people survive disasters, deal with the impact of climate change, find shelter from conflict and have a voice in their communities.

Story

The annual Chaplain's Challenge will help to raise awareness and funds for the community work of Christian Aid both locally and internationally, as well as strengthening our own Rossall Community.

Our ultimate goal is to take on the Yorkshire Pennine Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in under 12 hours. The route is 24 miles
(38.6km), and includes an ascent of 1585m (5200ft).

The preparation and program include:

Chaplain's Challenge Outdoor Practice Expedition at Beacon Fell Sunday, 11th March

Chaplain's Challenge Non-uniform Day (Bubble & Walking Hats for Junior School) - Friday, 13th April 2018

Yorkshire Three Peak Chaplain's Challenge - Saturday, 28th April 2018

Inter-house Chaplain's Challenge Cup Competition  - Sunday, 15th April 2018

Chaplain's Challenge 2018 Grand Finale - Friday, 4th May 2018 (during Chapel Services)
