Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit this charity page.

MND Scotland is a charity that means a lot to me and thus I have decided to trek the Himalayas in Nepal in September 2022, (postponed from 2021 due to COVID) to raise funds for the charity. For those of you who dont know, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. It effects everyone differently and may cause them to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink or breathe unaided.

My dad was diagnosed with MND back in January 2017 and sadly passed away November 2021. MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND), as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure. We want a world without Motor Neurone Disease, so I am fundraising because I want to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

Sponsoring me will also help MND Scotland to provide practical,
financial, and emotional support to people affected by MND. Thank you.

I hope you’ll help me support this charity.
