Jacob and I are taking part in The Gauntlet Triathlon at Castle Howard on 24th July. This will consist of a 1.9km swim, a 95km bike ride, followed by a half-marathon.

We want to raise as much money as possible in aid of Women for women international. They help survivors of war and have supported 531,498 women so far. Women are in desperate need of our help around the world. They are often left vulnerable to displacement, sexual assault and many other forms of abuse. Women for Women supports survivors of war to rebuild their lives, in their home countries in an effort to combat the instability and perils that come with migrating.

They are currently supporting women in Ukraine, Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, to name a few. We have trained hard for this event but it will be a real challenge.
