END GOAL - London Marathon 2019!

Hi, I'm Stephen Gilpin Head Physiotherapist at Rotherham United Football Club.

I have one aim and that is by the London Marathon (April 28th 2019) to have brought as much awareness and raised as much money for Prostate Cancer UK as possible.

At Rotherham United the manager Paul Warne actively encouraged the group to discuss inspirational stories or personalities that have impacted our lives. I chose to speak about my grandad, who lost a brave battle with Prostate Cancer. My grandad played a huge part in my life and the discussion raised a motivation and ambition to emulate this great man in any way I can.

I have teamed up with Ross Burbeary and between us, we came up with our first challenge.

'Match a Day' - 30 DAYS - 30 10km Runs - 45mins per run - 300km in total!

We will be asking personalities from a variety of backgrounds to join us in some of our runs. We want the local community to get involved and run throughout the month with us.

We will be posting daily updates with videos and pictures along the journey!!

For now, please give generously and get running!!!

Thanks for reading our story, Gilps and Ross.
